AddressIQ End-User Terms

These terms describe the permitted use of AddressIQ and the QuickBooks Online integration operated by GIDE.

Last updated: June 5, 2026

1. Who These Terms Apply To

These AddressIQ End-User Terms apply when you access or use AddressIQ, FieldIQ modules that rely on AddressIQ, or the AddressIQ QuickBooks Online integration. "GIDE", "we", "us", and "our" refer to GIDE Solutions. "You" and "your" refer to the customer, administrator, or authorized user accessing the service.

If GIDE and your organization have signed a separate written agreement, statement of work, order form, or data processing agreement, that document controls where it conflicts with these terms.

2. What AddressIQ Does

AddressIQ supports operational workflows such as address validation, premise intelligence, FieldIQ field operations, payroll review, and accounting export preparation. For QuickBooks Online, AddressIQ may help authorized users configure a connection, prepare approved payroll or accounting export packages, maintain mapping references, and review export readiness.

The current production implementation prepares export packages and connection readiness information. It does not directly post payroll or accounting records to QuickBooks Online unless GIDE and the customer separately approve, enable, and configure that capability.

3. Limited License and Access

Subject to these terms and any applicable written agreement, GIDE grants authorized users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use AddressIQ for the customer's internal business operations. No ownership of the AddressIQ software, workflows, documentation, or underlying intellectual property is transferred.

You are responsible for keeping user access appropriate, protecting credentials, and making sure only authorized administrators connect or disconnect QuickBooks Online.

4. QuickBooks Online Connection

The QuickBooks Online integration uses Intuit authorization flows. An authorized administrator may grant AddressIQ access to a QuickBooks Online company for the scopes selected during setup. AddressIQ may store connection metadata such as company or realm ID, connection status, selected scopes, token timestamps, and export mapping references.

QBO client secrets and refresh tokens must be stored server-side in secrets storage. They must not be placed in browser code, public source, client-side storage, or public files.

Authorized users can disconnect QuickBooks Online in AddressIQ where that control is available, revoke app access from the QuickBooks Online account, or request support from GIDE.

5. Customer Data and Review Responsibilities

Customer data remains the customer's data. AddressIQ uses customer data only to operate the integration, support payroll/accounting workflows, troubleshoot, secure the service, and comply with applicable obligations.

Payroll, accounting, tax, employment classification, overtime, statutory holiday, reimbursement, and QuickBooks Online configuration decisions must be reviewed and approved by the customer's responsible business, payroll, accounting, legal, or privacy owners before use in production workflows.

6. Restrictions

You must not use AddressIQ to:

  • break the law, violate third-party rights, or bypass Intuit, GIDE, or customer access controls;
  • attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or probe the service except as permitted in writing;
  • submit malicious code, credentials that you are not authorized to use, or data you are not permitted to process;
  • use the service as a substitute for qualified legal, payroll, accounting, tax, lending, insurance, or investment advice.

7. No Financial Product or Money Movement

AddressIQ does not process payments, move money, provide loans, broker insurance, manage investments, or make financial-product recommendations. QuickBooks Online workflows are limited to operational accounting/payroll preparation, export-package support, configuration, and related troubleshooting unless a later written scope says otherwise.

8. Security, Availability, and Support

GIDE uses reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards for AddressIQ. No service can be guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or immune from every security risk. If you believe access has been misused or a credential has been exposed, contact GIDE promptly.

For support, contact info@gide.ca or use the GIDE contact page.

9. Suspension and Termination

GIDE may suspend or limit access if required for security, misuse, non-payment, legal compliance, or protection of the service. When a customer relationship ends, AddressIQ access and connected integrations may be disabled. QuickBooks Online authorization can also be revoked from the customer's Intuit account.

10. Changes to These Terms

GIDE may update these terms as AddressIQ changes or as operational, security, or legal requirements evolve. The updated date above shows when this page was last changed.
